Degreaser SLOTOCLEAN AE 1440 is a highly alkaline process that utilizes liquid concentrates for immersion, hot-soak, and electrolytic degreasing of steel surfaces.

Additives:

• Additive SLOTOCLEAN AE 1441: Contains no complexing agents.

• Additive SLOTOCLEAN AE 1442: Contains weak complexing agents.

Sodium hydroxide must be added to both degreaser additives.

Applications:

• Degreasing Steel Parts: Degreaser SLOTOCLEAN AE 1440 effectively handles various surface cleaning tasks for steel components.

• Electrolytic Degreasing:

  • Cathodic or Pole Reversal: Use Additive SLOTOCLEAN AE 1441. Ensure a long anodic phase at the end of the cleaning cycle.

  • Anodic: Use Additive SLOTOCLEAN AE 1442.

• Immersion/Hot-Soak Degreasing: All additives can be used with a suitable cleaning enhancer.

• Aluminum and Stainless Steel (Without Sodium Hydroxide): When Additive SLOTOCLEAN AE 1442 is used for make-up and sodium hydroxide is not added, the degreaser can be used for immersion degreasing of aluminum and stainless steel.
